I don't know the name of these trees, but now and then, they bloom the most beautiful pink flowers, so much so that I imagine I am looking at a Cherry Blossom tree.

Breakfast Ideas.......(2) Pancakes and Waffles

We woke up early on a Saturday morning, meaning to "attack" one of the cafes at JEM (Jurong East Mall) for some luxurious breakfast. Arrived at one of the branded cafes, looked at the menu.... hmm, ok, so the 'ultimate' breakfast set looked good, can be shared by 2. But then, the boy saw something else... Waffles, he said: "I want waffles....." I looked at him, thinking hard. Not a second later, the girl said: "Can we have these Pancakes?" I looked at the price, I looked at them. "You don't want to share the big breakfast set?" "Waffles.......", "Pancakes...... " I looked at the price, and I looked at them..... "we'll go somewhere else today...... let's go get the ready-to-bake whatever you want at NTUC later", they both looked at me: "Mommy.!!!! please.............". 

"No. We'll get somethings else for breakfast". And so ended the "tug-of-war".

As promised, after a hearty breakfast at ToastBox, we had fun grocery-shopping and they got what they wanted....
