Everyday seems just like the day before. As the morning sun rises, the midnight blue sky slowly turns bluish orange; the pigeons swarm the lamp posts and pavements, the sound of engines in the common parking areas and the quickened foot steps of the pedestrians, and yes, the MRT trains passing by at regular intervals - signs of the start to another busy day.
School children, eyes still half-opened, ushered hurriedly by the adults into the school compound, muffled sounds of "Bye bye Mommy (Daddy)!" and "I Love You!" everywhere. The city folks in their best attire, strutting along the pavement, only to be slowed down by the stay-at-home folks who stops to chat on the way to the market.
Such is the typical life in the neighbourhood. I like to think that I am blessed with the simple things in life, nothing fanciful, just simple, down-to-earth everyday necessity and the people around me.
Welcome to my simple world, where I stop and smell the flowers and snap photos of people, plants, buildings and surroundings and find simple pleasures in doing so.
Welcome to my simple world, where I jot down the memories in cooking, food tasting, outings, and occasional travelling.
