Photos of the Month @ Mount Fable and Sentosa Island...... September 2021

Mount Faber

Mount Faber was named after Captain Charles Edward Faber in 1845. Due to it's high vantage point, it was once a defence fort for colonial Singapore.

On 17 January 1965, Mount Faber Scenic Park was officially opened by Singapore’s former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew.

Singapore Cable Car, launched in 1974, was the first attraction on the hill. The cable car remains an iconic attraction and a families' favourite at the hilltop destination till today. Before the Sentosa Gateway and Sentosa Express were constructed, Singapore Cable Car was one of the 2 ways to visit the country's island  of leisure and fun - Sentosa.

How to get to Mount Faber
From HarbourFront MRT station, take Exit B towards HarbourFront Centre.
Cross the link bridge at level 2 and walk to HarbourFront Tower 2.
Tickets are available at the ticketing counter at HarbourFront Tower 2 ground floor.
Board the cable car at HarbourFront Tower 2 (take tge lift up to level 15) where the HarbourFront Cable Car Station is and take the cable car to Mount Faber Cable Car Station.

If you are driving, turn into Mount Faber Road from Lower Delta Road or Kampong Bahru Road, and the road will lead you to the peak carpark.
