How time flies.... oops, i seem to use this term quite often... No matter, because it is as true as the words mean. In between coaching the kids and housework, on top of working full time, I managed to set aside some time to settle my restless mind with some cookies making.

Another year, another beginning...
Time really flies........ it seems like only a few days have passed since the start of year end holiday. This is an important year for the kids, Jie Jie will be sitting for her P6 exam and move on to secondary school next year. Di Di will be taking his P4 exams too... As far as possible, I encourage them to be conscientious and learn to be independent in both studies and day-to-day matters. So far, I have been very glad with them, taking care of their own school things, their bedroom, wardrobe, among other stuff.. well done kids!!!
Here's some hearty breakfast of homemade toast and cinnamon apple chutney for your brand new day at school:)

Another New Year Day
Happy New Year!!! We woke up at 6 plus this morning, before the sun rise, we were out at NTUC@JEM, Jurong East. Groceries shopping seem to have some therapeutic effect for me, especially when the mall is still half awaken, without its usual throngs of crowd. I totally enjoy and appreciate the serenity while shopping for fresh produce and groceries.
