It was a sunny Friday afternoon. Our department lab and office staff are out for a treat, a team bonding event at the Bollywood Vegetable Farm located in Lim Chu Kang. A vegetable farm?! Many of us wondered.... how do people "team bond" at a vegetable farm?
We did not have time to ponder too much, for when our chartered bus turned into our destination, we were greeted by cheery signs and vast greenery.
The place was spacious, full of trees, bushes and plants, as well as lovely flowers.
We were introduced to the farm by the owner's husband and staff, followed by grouping and competition. We even had a fishing contest!
After that, we were brought to the putting workshop where we each get 2 types of potted plants to bring home.
Refreshments of local delicacies (kuih kuih) were served before we departed for our dinner at Seoul Gardens@Clementi Mall.
