Mochi Mochi I love you.....

Mochi......mochi....... so cute, so chewy. The little sticky rice ball stuffed with sweet fillings, wrapped in pastel coloured wrappers and adorned with cutesy facial expressions.... makes one go "awww..... soooo cute!"

The other day, I made these using store bought Mochi Premix (Bought at Phoon Huat).

Ingredients:
Mochi Premix 150g
Water 100ml
Choice of filling

Soy bean powder

Mix the ingredients together and microwave till soft and sticky.

Leave the mixture till lukewarm then use two spoons to scoop out a dollop onto a cling wrap. I did not have any fillings so I use chocolate as the filling.
Wrap the Mochi balls in the cling wrap, leave in the fridge till chilled and set.

When ready, prepare a container and pour some soy bean powder ($2 a packet from Daiso) into it. Unwrap the Mochi balls and coat generously with the soy bean powder and enjoy!

Yummy...............bouncy mochi.......我的最爱 (my true love) 。。。
