A beautiful end to 2014

Invited some nice colleagues to my little "cottage" to have a meal together... for some bonding over simple home prepared food.

Chocolate Chip Cranberry Cookies

Made the most wonderful melt-in-the-mouth (gigantic) cookies with my sister today. It was chewy and crunchy at the same time, and simply fill us with happiness upon the first bite. It was great too when paired with Latte:)

Team Bonding with department.... A trip to Bollywood vege

It was a sunny Friday afternoon. Our department lab and office staff are out for a treat, a team bonding event at the Bollywood Vegetable Farm located in Lim Chu Kang. A vegetable farm?! Many of us wondered.... how do people "team bond" at a vegetable farm?

Reading, UK ................Memories (2)

Here are some very old photos of mom and dad, during their stay in Reading, UK, in the 70s. My father read his Masters at the University of Reading, these photos show him giving mom a tour of his old campus during their stay.

35 years later, they revisited Reading, while we went to UK for a family trip.

The city changed so much! Even my father could not recognize many of the old buildings he went for classes everyday. I was glad he and mom enjoyed their Reading nostalgia while the rest of us went exploring Cambridge.
