Simple Meatballs
Bought another batch of minced meat. This type I made a lot of meat balls and baked them in the oven.
Same as before, I packed the meatballs into portions enough for a few servings.
Simple Meatballs with water chestnut
500g minced pork
10 water chestnuts, cubed finely
2 Tbsp Five spices powder (optional)
Salt and pepper according to preference
2 Tbsp bread crumbs
1 egg, lightly beaten
Course black pepper for garnish
Method
Mix all the ingredients and form small meat balls of diameter about 2.5 cm.
Bake on a lined baking tray until brown (about 30 to 40 minutes at 200 deg C).
Let the meatballs cool and pack accordingly. Freeze well if not intended for immediate consumption.
Ready to tuck in:)
